USDA Opens Signup for National Conservation Innovation Grants

USDA is investing up to $12.5 million to help support the adoption of innovative conservation approaches on agricultural lands. USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is accepting proposals through July 29, 2019, for national Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG).

CIG Applications Due 5:00PM Eastern Time on Monday, July 15, 2019.

NRCS national headquarters announced the availability of CIG On-Farm Conservation Innovation Trials (On-Farm Trials) to stimulate the adoption and evaluation of innovative conservation approaches in partnership with agricultural producers. 

CIG Project applications / proposals are due July 12, 2019.

Pacific Islands Area announced on that $150K will be invested for new Pacific Islands Area projects to help develop and demonstrate cutting-edge ideas to address natural resource conservation challenges on private agricultural and forest lands through Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG).

Today PIA Director Thomason announced PIA – Grant Funding Announced $900,000.00
