Forms are available and deadlines are set to nominate Iowa's most deserving conservationists for 2021. Awards include Farmer of the Year, Conservation Woman of the Year, Woodland Owner of the Year, Outstanding Watershed, Outstanding SWCD Commissioner, and more.

Turn Unproductive Acres Green

A partnership agreement between USDA and Pheasants Forever is helping Iowa’s farmers and rural landowners learn about opportunities to improve profitability within their fields through a free analysis of their precision farm data.

Iowa Soil Health EQIP Initiative

Ask staff at your local NRCS office about special funding opportunities to help improve soil health on your cropland.

Funding Available for Conservation Innovation Grants in Iowa

Up to $350,000 in Federal grant funding is available in Iowa for the development of innovative conservation approaches and technologies through the USDA-administered Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program. Grant proposals are due by May 7, 2021.
