Apply now for the first round of fiscal year 2024 funding consideration. Applications are being taken at all USDA Service Centers in Wisconsin. Applications received after November 3rd will automatically be deferred to the next funding cycle.
Conservationists with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are encouraging Iowa landowners with marginal cropland or land adjacent to trees, brush and pasture to seed down native warm-season grasses to benefit the northern bobwhite quail and other wildlife.
NRCS is accepting applications for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), climate-smart practices through EQIP and CSP funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). Apply by November 17.
