The Watershed and Flood Prevention Operations (WFPO) Program (Watershed Operations) includes the Flood Prevention Operations Program authorized by the Flood Control Act of 1944 (P.L. 78-534) and the provisions of the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act of 1954 (P.L. 83-566).

- The Capital Conservation District has scheduled a public meeting to discuss the Plan-EA on July 21, 2025, 6-8PM at Andrews Heights Elementary (7776 Coal River Rd, Tornado WV 25202). We look forward to continuing the consultation process and working with you on this important project.
