NRCS in California is taking applications for the 2024 Sage Grouse Initiative (SGI) and Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (SWFL) initiative through the NRCS Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW) partnership.
U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) leaders and employees honor Earth Team volunteers and celebrate their numerous contributions to protecting New Mexico natural resources during National Volunteer Week, April 21 – 27, 2024.
Agricultural producers, farmers, and forest landowners must apply by May 31 for an additional third round of funding in fiscal year 2024.
The value for each volunteer hour is estimated nationally at $31.80 per hour for 2023.
