The Biden-Harris Administration recently announced the availability of Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) funding for Climate Smart Agriculture. Biden-Harris Administration Announces Availability of Inflation Reduction Act Funding for Climate-Smart Agriculture Nationwide | Natural Resources Conservation Service (usda.gov) The Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) will be a funded under the Act for a total of $1.4 Billion over the next four years. The Wetland Reserve Easement (WRE) program will be a key component of the ACEP funds available.
ACEP-IRA applications are being accepted now. Deadline for the 2025 signup period ends October 4, 2024.
