- Soil
- Water
- Air
- Plants
- Wetlands
- Wildlife
- Agricultural Community
- Environmental Community
Maryland STC meetings are held twice a year. Meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for April 1, 2025.
State Technical Committee meetings are conducted as an open discussion among members. Individuals participating in the meetings have the opportunity to address the committee and present their opinions and recommendations. The State Conservationist may assemble certain members into subcommittees to discuss, examine, and focus on a particular technical or programmatic topic. The subcommittees will report back during a State Technical Committee meeting. Although State Technical Committees have no implementation or enforcement authority, NRCS gives strong consideration to the Committee's recommendations.
