The Northern Rhode Island Conservation District is holding a Local Working Group Meeting to gather resident input on local and state natural resource priorities & criteria for conservation programs administered by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service on Feb. 26 at 6:30 pm in N. Scituate.
Virtual office hours will be held with Cheatgrass Challenge coordinator Lacey Clarke and challenge partners to assist with project applications. Interested parties may use this time to call in and ask questions directly related to their project(s).
The Water Quality Subcommittee will host two partner-oriented working groups to provide recommendations to NRCS for addressing water quality related resource concerns in the State.
