Your input is needed. In effort to address local natural resource concerns, the Upper Musselshell Conservation District invites you to a Local Working Group meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to give you an opportunity to express your natural resource concerns, whether it be a specific weed that needs to be addressed, soil health, unproductive rangeland, aging irrigation, infrastructure, flood damage, areas of education you’d like to see, water quality concerns, forest health or other natural resources issues.
The Conservation District is working to address resource concerns and issues that are important to the residents of Wheatland County. The Conservation District would appreciate your help in developing a list of resource issues, which in turn will be prioritized for the work plan and for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to help landowners implement high priority conservation projects utilizing NRCS technical and financial assistance programs, working together with interested partner organizations.
This meeting is open to the public, including agriculture producers, government resource agencies, livestock groups, wildlife groups…anyone interested in improving natural resources!
