Tammy Willis, State Conservationist
Illinois NRCS, led by our State Conservationist and our State Leadership Team, works to conserve the natural resources across Illinois. Illinois NRCS is headquartered out of Champaign, IL and delivers conservation technical and financial assistance through our 93 service centers throughout the state and partner agencies.
Our State Office in Champaign hosts the Plant Materials Garden, with species of warm season grasses, cool season grasses, forbs and legumes. Please feel free to visit our plant materials garden any time between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. The garden is in the west parking lot of the USDA-NRCS building.
