Hydric Soils

NASIS
The National Soil Information System (NASIS) is a dynamic internal database that contains tabular information about soils that is associated with our maps. The tabular data is delivered along with the soil maps, from the official SSURGO database, through Web Soil Survey or other outlets.

NCSS Soil Characterization Database (Lab Data Mart)
Allows you to generate, print, and download reports containing soil characterization data from the Kellogg Soil Survey Laboratory. Data can be viewed onscreen or downloaded in comma-delimited text files for use in other applications.

SSURGO
The Soil Survey Geographic Database (SSURGO) contains soil information that soil scientists have collected over the course of a century. The information can be displayed in tables or as maps and is available for most areas in the United States and the Territories, Commonwealths, and Island Nations.

STATSGO2
The Digital General Soil Map of the United States (STATSGO2) is a broad-based inventory of soil and non-soil areas in the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The level of mapping is designed for broad planning and management uses covering state, regional, and multi-state areas. STATSGO2 is comprised of general soil association units and is maintained and distributed as a spatial and tabular dataset.
