National Soil Information System (NASIS)

The National Soil Information System (NASIS) desktop application is used by National Cooperative Soil Scientists to enter and store information about soils into a national United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) database.

NASIS is for USDA internal use only. See Frequently Asked Questions for more information. Access to official National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS) data is available on the Web Soil Survey and does not require a NASIS account.
