USDA Invites Input on Environmental Quality Incentives Program Rule

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service seeks public comments on its interim rule for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). The rule takes effect upon publication and includes changes to the program prescribed by the 2018 Farm Bill.

USDA Accepting Proposals for Conservation Collaboration Grants

USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will invest $35 million in grants for projects that target agricultural producers in multiple states, including Tribal, socially disadvantaged, limited-resource, veteran, or beginning farmers and ranchers. Proposals are due February 7, 2020.
