Our Amazing Grasslands - Neuharth Family ~ Ft. Pierre, South Dakota

"Doing these things is very rewarding. Seeing the wildlife habitat, you go for a drive and it's nothing unusual to see some pheasants, prairie chickens, grouse, and deer with babies. Everybody is spread out and comfortable. It's very peaceful and rewarding to be part of that."
In this five-and-a-half-minute video release, we visit with the Leopold Award winning Neuharth Family in Ft. Pierre, South Dakota. The Neuharth Family are stewards of and land and find their system rewarding both for the soil and their family. The South Dakota Grassland Coalition (SDGC) partnered with the organizations listed below to enhance the Grassland Planner with a release of a short video story each month during 2022 promoting healthy soils, grasslands, and ecosystems. Please enjoy the "Our Amazing Grasslands" feature story for June 2022.
