USDA-NRCS Encourages Producers in Kansas to Apply for NRCS CSP ACT NOW Assistance by September 20, 2024

Producers are encouraged to apply at their local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Service Center by Friday, September 20, 2024. If the State ranking date is missed, applications will be considered for the next funding period.
SALINA, KANSAS, Friday, August 22, 2024 ‒ The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is encouraging farmers and ranchers in Kansas to participate in the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), a department-wide effort to support agricultural producers interested in improving their current operation through the Act Now process.
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will be utilizing ACT NOW to process conservation applications to deliver a conservation product faster. ACT NOW allows NRCS to immediately approve and obligate a ranked application in a designated ranking pool when an eligible application meets or exceeds the State-determined minimum ranking score of 1 point or more.
Producers are encouraged to apply at their local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Service Center by Friday, September 20, 2024. If the State ranking date is missed, applications will be considered for the next funding period.
