Regional Conservation Partnership Program - MO

The Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) promotes coordination of NRCS conservation activities with partners that offer value-added contributions to expand our collective ability to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns.

Missouri RCPP Opportunities

NRCS accepts applications for RCPP on a continuous basis throughout the year. We announce signup cutoff deadlines as funds become available.

How it Works

Through RCPP, NRCS seeks to co-invest with partners to implement projects that demonstrate innovative solutions to conservation challenges and provide measurable improvements and outcomes tied to the resource concerns they seek to address.

Once an RCPP project is established based on the partner’s goals, producers and landowners are able to work with the partner and NRCS to create contracts that carry out agreed-to conservation activities. RCPP assistance can be used on all types of agricultural operations including:

  • Conventional and organic
  • Specialty and commodity crops
  • Wildlife and forestry
  • Historically underserved farmers
  • Livestock operations

How to Apply

The best way to learn if RCPP is a good fit for you is by contacting your local NRCS office. If you choose to move forward, your local NRCS conservationist will guide you through applying for the program.
