Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program received an historic $925 million from the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA). This investment in restoring watersheds that were impacted by severe weather events will help communities rebuild safeguards to protect lives and property under threat from potential flooding and erosion.

Communities and local Sponsors are encouraged to submit a request for assistance to help provide technical and financial support for watershed impairments from flooding and erosion caused by a natural disaster. Please contact your local NRCS State EWP Program Manager for more information. Requests for assistance will be reviewed and funded as funds remain available.
