The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is celebrating National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week, Feb. 15-22, by recognizing the importance of agricultural education and its role in shaping future conservation leaders.
Each year, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) recognizes the exceptional contributions of one of their own and awards them the title of NRCS Engineer of the Year. This year, the NRCS Engineer of the Year is Shane W. Ice, P.E., State Conservation Engineer for NRCS in Texas.
The meeting is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. and is open to the public.
