The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Oregon announces funding available for farmers, ranchers and forest owners in Eastern Oregon counties to perform voluntary conservation activities on their land to recover from the 2024 wildfire season. Applicants should apply by February 26, 2025.
Funding through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is available to landowners impacted by the 2024 wildfire season in the following Eastern Oregon counties: Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, Wheeler.
NRCS Oregon’s Wildfire Disaster Recovery project helps affected producers and landowners with restoration and recovery of burned range and forest lands.
