NRCS, in partnership with American Farmland Trust, will be accepting applications for financial assistance for Land Management and Land Rental activities through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).

DOVER, N.H. (October 2, 2023) - Today the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in New Hampshire announced Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) opportunities in the Granite State.

NRCS, in partnership with American Farmland Trust, will be accepting applications for financial assistance for Land Management and Land Rental activities through the RCPP. Livestock producers in Cheshire, Sullivan, Grafton and Coos Counties are eligible for this program.

Applications are accepted year-round, but the deadline for fiscal year 2024 is November 9, 2023.

This funding is part of the Western New England Regenerative Agriculture RCPP project, focused on increasing the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices in Western New England livestock farms through technical and financial assistance opportunities. These funds will assist livestock producers in implementing conservation practices to improve soil health or protect water quality. Examples of eligible projects include prescribed grazing, pasture and hay planting, cover crop planting, pollinator habitats, and more.

To apply, eligible producers should contact Bill Fosher (bfosher@farmland.org, 413-335-5275) for assistance, and indicate their interest in this specific RCPP project (2311 - Regenerative Agriculture in New England) on their application.
