OVERVIEW | Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL)
USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service is funding projects in rounds. In the first wave of funding (March), NRCS invested more than $166.5 million in 108 projects in 23 states. The second round of funding (April) provides $420 million for 132 watershed protection projects in 31 states, including rehabilitating dams, flood prevention, and watershed preservation.
NRCS will continue to review and fund requests as funds are available.
NRCS encourages local sponsors to submit requests through their local program managers. Contact information and additional resources page.
