HONOLULU, May 23, 2025 – If you’re interested in conservation for your farm or land, join us June 6 in Pāhala to learn about U.S. Department of Agriculture conservation programs available for farmers, ranchers and landowners. We’ll discuss programs that offer financial and technical assistance, farm loans and farm programs, crop insurance, improve soil health and more.

The workshop is free to attend. You’ll hear from representatives with the Soil and Water Conservation District; University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience; and USDA agencies such as the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and Risk Management Agency.
