The Ravalli County Local Work Group is hosting a free outreach BBQ. The Bitterroot Conservation District has generously provided funding for the BBQ and the MSU Western Agricultural Research Center has offered to provide the venue.
Who are we?
The Ravalli County Local Work Group is a collaboration of landowners, agricultural producers, owners of private forest land, representatives of agricultural and environmental organizations, and representatives of governmental agencies that carry out natural resource conservation programs and activities in Ravalli County.
The goal of the local work group is to identify, discuss, and prioritize the natural resource concerns in Ravalli County. Your input matters! Local priorities will influence where partners in conservation concentrate their assistance.
Why?
This BBQ is an opportunity to hear from WARC staff about on-going research and learn about your local work group, including how you can get involved and make your voice heard!
