Montana Soil Health Symposium 2023 - Pre-Conference Workshop
The Montana Soil Health Symposium and the pre-conference workshop is hosted by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Montana Association of Conservation Districts. It brings together national and local speakers to discuss soil health techniques and innovations.

The pre-conference workshop, "Grass to Table! How to get your livestock in the hands of the consumer," will happen the day before the main Montana Soil Health Symposium.
The pre-conference workshop is the afternoon of Feb. 7 while the symposium runs from the morning of Feb. 8 through lunch on Feb. 9.
The pre-conference workshop will feature four ranchers sharing their challenges and opportunities as they have worked through the process to market their beef. This discussion will include livestock processing, regulations with state and USDA processing facilities, restaurants, marketing strategies, and other options to get your livestock to the consumer.
