HONOLULU, July 31, 2025 – The Kauaʻi community is invited to join their neighboring farmers and ranchers for the West Kauaʻi Local Working Group meeting on Thursday, Aug. 14.

West Kauaʻi Local Working Group Meeting
Thursday, Aug. 14, 5 p.m.
Anahola Clubhouse, 3900 Kawelo St., Anahola, Kauaʻi 96703

Local conservation districts convene Local Working Group meetings, which are open to the public, with support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. They gather input from a diverse group of stakeholders with agricultural and environmental interests. Their feedback helps NRCS guide conservation priorities in the local communities for the upcoming fiscal year.

Representatives of the West Kauaʻi Soil & Water Conservation District and USDA agencies such as NRCS and the Farm Service Agency will provide information and answer questions about conservation programs and other resources.

Registration is not required, but it is encouraged. Please contact ewkswcd@gmail.com or call 808-346-0691 for more information and to confirm your attendance as food will be provided.
