The LWG is the foundation of NRCS' conservation program delivery process. It supports locally led conservation efforts by coordinating USDA programs with other federal, state, and local conservation programs to provide an integrated solution to addressing natural resource concerns.

Announcing a Local Work Group Meeting to assess Agricultural and Natural Resource Concerns for Farmers and Landowners in Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties. This is an opportunity to provide input on natural resource concerns and help address these concerns through conservation programs.
A Local Work Group meeting with representatives from the SCDs and NRCS will be held on February 12, 2025 – 12:00 pm at the Salem Rutgers Cooperative Extension - 51 Cheney Road, Woodstown. Lunch will be provided so please RSVP to the Gloucester SCD at (856) 589-5250 or gloucester@gloucesterscd.org
