Eastern RICD Cover Crop Field Walk
Join SEMAP, University of Rhode Island (URI) Cooperative Extension, and the Eastern Rhode Island Conservation District (ERICD) for a field walk focusing on cover crops and innovative ways to incorporate them into your growing system.

Wishing Stone Farm stewards and grows on about 40 acres of land in Little Compton, RI. Their growing methods demonstrate a commitment to sustainable agriculture and the protection of open space, while providing food for the local communities.
The owner, Skip Paul, will enlighten us on how he uses cover crops to improve soil health at the farm. We'll also discuss ways we can assist you technically and financially with cover cropping on your own property.
