The Carbon Conservation District is hosting a meeting to gather input from local stakeholders to help prioritize natural resources concerns and guide NRCS funding opportunities.

An in-person local working group meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Joliet Fire Station, 129 N Main St, Joliet, MT. Please RSVP to Tyler Stearns at the Carbon Conservation District website or by phone at 406-962-3300 x 104.

  • Be part of a collaborative effort to improve natural resources within Carbon County.
  • Identify and prioritize where the best investments can be made to address natural resource problems.
  • Your input matters! Local priorities direct NRCS financial assistance and determine where EQIP dollars are allocated in the short and long-term. 
  • Focused conservation allows NRCS to target investments in specific areas to achieve clearly defined natural resource goals as identified by local partners, producers and landowners.
