More about Georgia

Dig deeper into what NRCS has to offer farmers, forest landowners, and communities in the Peach State.

About NRCS in Georgia

Determined to "Help People Help the Land", the NRCS is a federal agency that, along with State of Georgia's 40 Conservation Districts, collaborates with farmers, ranchers, communities and other individuals and groups to protect natural resources on private lands. Working side by side with our partners and customers, we identify natural resource concerns, such as water quality and quantity issues, soil erosion, air quality, wetlands and wildlife habitat and develop unique solutions for restoring and protecting these resources.

We have 45 NRCS field offices that provide full services to their designated areas, as well as some local county offices that combine to provide coverage for all 159 counties in Georgia.
