Protecting Drinking Water Sources: A GIS Tool to Rank Priority Areas in Connecticut
The Connecticut Council on Soil and Water Conservation, UCONN CLEAR, and the Connecticut Department of Public Health invites you to join them for a ZOOM event on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 1:00-2:30 PM, as they introduce a tool for Source Water Protection.
This GIS model can support public and private sector decision making and policy development for the protection of drinking water in our state and serve as a model for other regions to address the emerging challenges in drinking water supply watersheds and the expanding role of watershed managers in source water protection.
