Missouri NRCS Announces Notice of Funding for Conservation Partnership, Outreach and Education

Missouri NRCS is announcing a funding opportunity for outreach and education agreements

The Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is announcing a funding opportunity for outreach and education agreements that support the efforts of natural resource conservation partners in Missouri. The proposal deadline is March 21, 2024.

Through these agreements, approved proposals will focus on bringing awareness, generating new customers and providing outreach to Historically Underserved agricultural producers. They can also provide education to NRCS and partner conservation planners and/or Missouri agricultural producers on urban agriculture. Key objectives of these agreements include: 

  • Conduct outreach to increase diversity, equity and inclusion in Farm Bill Programs through outreach workshops, conferences and/or virtual learning
  • Technical workshops and/or field days focused on urban and small scale agriculture initiatives and awareness

Applicants must submit their applications via grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
