Early-June Forage Production Report and Outlook

Huron, SD, June 5, 2025 – South Dakota (SD) Grassland Productivity Map conditions have changed across the state since last updated on May 15. These maps, produced through the SD Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Drought Tool, will be updated approximately every 15 days until July 1.

USDA-NRCS & NRICD announce completion of HUC-12 watershed assessments for Scituate Reservoir & surrounding areas

The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Rhode Island and Northern Rhode Island Conservation District (NRICD) announce the completion of three HUC-12 watershed assessments for the Scituate Reservoir and surrounding areas. (HUC-12 is a “12-digit Hydrologic Unit Code” watershed ID.) 

NRCS California Extends Sign Up Deadline for Livestock-Predator Interaction Management Initiative to June 13th
