The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the regulations of the federal Council on Environmental Quality at 40 CFR Parts 1500-1508 require an evaluation of potential environmental impacts associated with federally funded projects. The impact evaluation must provide the opportunity for input from the public, and public input must be considered in development of the final action.

You are invited to attend a public meeting to discuss the Plan-EA and proposed rehabilitation alternatives associated with the dam project.
