Women Land and Legacy of Iowa, Johnson, Cedar, Clinton, and Scott Counties are pleased to be partnering with Four Winds Farm, for a field day.
August in Iowa is the perfect time of year to walk the hemp fields at Four Winds Farm. Come and experience a newer trend in sustainable farming to hit our region and learn about the techniques of cover cropping used to support plant diversity, biodiversity within the soil, and protect ecosystems down-stream. Hemp is a common name for the variety of cannabis sativa plant that contains less than 0.3% THC.
