HONOLULU, July 15, 2025 –The East Hawaiʻi community is invited to join their neighboring farmers and ranchers for the Hāmākua Local Working Group meeting, July 29, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Honokaʻa High School Cafeteria on the Big Island.

Local conservation districts convene Local Working Group meetings, which are open to the public, with support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. They gather input from a diverse group of stakeholders with agricultural and environmental interests. Their feedback helps NRCS guide conservation priorities in the local communities for the upcoming fiscal year.
