NRCS VT is soliciting feedback for FY25 state priorities for ACEP-IRA enrollment criteria. This subcommittee will explore areas of focus for Vermont ALE enrollments. Criteria is in addition to the established nationwide priority areas and will be used to prioritize selections for FY25 ALE-funding. Areas may be based on geographic regions or land types that, when enrolled in ACEP-ALE, would reduce, capture, avoid, or sequester carbon dioxide, methane, or nitrous oxide emissions.

• Partners attending the subcommittee meeting should come prepared to discuss areas of priority to put forth for consideration. Any submissions for consideration must be reference peer-reviewed scientific literature and include an area map. Submissions and maps are due to the Vermont State Office by July 12, 2024. (NRCS VT will provide a format to submit these materials). 
• All suggestions for priority areas will be presented to the statewide Technical Advisory Committee on July 17, 2024.
• A separate subcommittee invite will be sent for ACEP-WRE.
