The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Montana is hosting two webinars open to the public on June 8 and on June 15.

Producers and others involved in agriculture will have an opportunity to learn about the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) available to farmers and ranchers whose operations have been directly impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The CFAP will provide direct relief to producers who faced price declines and additional marketing costs due to COVID-19. The webinars will highlight basic program information and educational outreach resources that are available.

You can join the Montana FSA webinars through the following links:

Monday, June 15, 9:00 a.m. (MST) CFAP Webinar for Montana Agriculture Producers

When you join the meeting, attendees will be taken to a page where you can choose to either join on the web or download the desktop app. If you already have the Teams app, the meeting will open there automatically. If you don’t have a Teams account, you may join the meeting as a guest. The webinars will be recorded and will be publicly available following each session.

FSA is accepting applications for CFAP through Aug. 28, 2020. To find the latest information on CFAP, including forms and the contact information for your local Service Center, visit farmers.gov/CFAP.

Persons with disabilities who require accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact Jennifer Cole at (406) 654.1333, ext. 116, or Federal Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339, and jennifer.cole@usda.gov by June 6, 2020.

USDA Service Centers are open for business by phone appointment only and field work will continue with appropriate social distancing. While our program delivery staff will continue to come into the office, they will be working with our producers by phone, mail, email, fax and using online tools whenever possible. All Service Center visitors wishing to conduct business with the FSA, Natural Resources Conservation Service, or any other Service Center agency are required to call their Service Center to schedule a phone appointment. More information can be found at farmers.gov/coronavirus.
