Transboundary Cooperation
NAISMA's 27th Annual Conference will be co-hosted by the Montana Invasive Species Council
The 2020 NAISMA Annual Conference will be held at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake in Whitefish, Montana, October 6-8, 2020. Whitefish is at the doorstep to stunning Glacier National Park. Field trips will include a tour of Glacier National Park, local naturalist hikes with plant identification around Whitefish Lake, aquatic and terrestrial invasive species management strategies and concerns between Whitefish and Flathead Lake, unique tribal partnerships, and more.
The 2020 Conference will feature successful cross-boundary collaborations in this unique area known as the “Crown of the Continent” including state, tribal, national, and international regional partnerships.
