Pest Management

Image of person trying to control pestIntegrated pest management (IPM) is a broad-based approach that integrates practices for economic control of pests. IPM in NRCS is focused on helping producers develop IPM plans, evaluate the environmental risks of pest control activities and mitigate these risk. A site specific IPM plan will address likely pest and provide management strategy for the Prevention, Avoidance, Monitoring and Suppression (PAMS) of these pest.
