Women's Learning Circles are part of the American Farmland Trust’s “Women and Land” Conservation Program, which was designed for women landowners like you who own and make management decisions on Virginia forest or farm land.

The experience will be different from any workshop you’ve attended in the past. “Women and Land” dispenses with lectures and presentations, focusing instead on sharing knowledge and experience. You’ll join a group of 15+ women landowners and conservation/extension staff from your county.

You’ll leave with the information, confidence and contacts to make informed decisions for your land and to obtain technical and financial assistance to protect/improve your natural resources.

Session 1 of this three-day program focuses on "Who is Who" in the conservation community. Participants will engage in lively discussion and fellowship focused on women in agriculture and natural resources management in our region.

We expect demand to be high, so please register as soon as possible to reserve your slot.
