This workshop is part of the Mini-Cassia Direct Seed and Cover Crop Project. Check in and a continental breakfast start at 8 a.m. Speakers for the morning, which begins at 8:30, include Marlon Winger, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service; Jay Fuhrer, USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, Brian Kossman, Minidoka Soil & Water Conservation District; Keith Berns, Green Cover Seed & Providence Farms. Following the lunch break, area Farmers Rob Giebrecht and Luke Adams will speak. In addition there will be breakout sessions covering:
- Pesticide Credits/Biofumigation/Pest Control
- Dairy Feed/Optimum Nutrition from Cover Crops
- Cover Crops/ What Does My Farm Need?
- Soil Health/How to Get Started, and
- Nematode Resistant Cover Crop Solutions
