Ag Forecast Seminar Series

The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will be hosting its annual Ag Forecast Seminar Series, beginning January 22, 2019 in Macon, Georgia. There will be six Ag Forecast meetings next year. They are listed below:

  • Tuesday, January 22, Macon, Georgia Farm Bureau Building
  • Wednesday, January 23, Carrollton, Carroll County Ag Center
  • Friday, January 25, Watkinsville, Oconee County Civic Center
  • Tuesday, January 29, Lyons, Toombs County Agri-Center
  • Thursday, Januray 31, Bainbridge, Decatur County Agricultural Center
  • Friday, February 1, Tifton, Tifton Campus Conference Center

Schedule for all locations – except Tifton:

  • 9 a.m.: Onsite check in and coffee
  • 10-11:30 a.m.: Seminar presentations
  • 11:30 a.m.: Networking lunch

Tifton schedule:

  • 7 a.m.: Onsite check in and coffee
  • 7:30 a.m.: Breakfast buffet lines open
  • 8-9:30 a.m.: Seminar presentations

We wanted to invite you and members of your organization to the event. It is a great way for UGA agricultural economists to speak with Georgia farmers and industry leaders and provide insights into the latest trends and economic conditions facing Georgia agriculture. Also, CAES Dean Sam Pardue will be the keynote speaker.
