An oat trial and various cover crops for grazing.  We will see regrowth of covers after final grazing in the spring

9:45     Carinata as an Oilseed Crop for Industry

Numerous variety trials of breeding lines from Agrisoma, as well as demonstration of current commercial varieties

10:30   Lupin and Rye mixtures within a Summer Crop Rotation

Presentation of Narrow-Leaf Lupin, White Lupin and rye and combinations within a summer rotation of cotton and peanut

11:30   Lunch

            Posters on site

12:30   Climate and growing season review and forecast discussion  with participants of the “Tri-state climate learning network for row crop agriculture”

2:00     Optional trip to a carinata commercial field in Arabi, GA
