Background

  • I began my career as a multi-field office Range Specialist in Northwestern New Mexico working with private and checkerboarded ranches, the Navajo Nation, numerous Pueblos and multiple Land Grants.  After becoming the Area Range Specialist, I covered 13 field offices for roughly 20 million acres.
  • In 2014, I became the State Range Specialist while also completing several details including Team Lead District Conservationist, National Grazing Land Management Specialist and graduated from the NM-CO-OK Tri-State Leadership Program.
  • I am a member of the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Educational Administrative Board, the Society for Range Management Accreditation Board, a Certified Professional through the Society, and Past-President of the New Mexico Section for SRM.
