  • Performance Plans: Achieving Your Equal Opportunity/Civil Rights Performance Element
The NRCS requires an Equal Opportunity/Civil Rights (EO/CR) element in every employee’s Performance Plan. Many employees are unsure of what fulfills this requirement and often ask themselves, “What can I do to earn a fully successful, or better rating?” The Wyoming NRCS’ Civil Rights Advisory Committee (CRAC) would like to give employees ideas on how to meet and surpass their EO/CR element in the performance plan, as well as bettering our agency by making employees aware of the importance of Civil Rights within the NRCS. This bulletin will give you some ideas on how to achieve this element.
  • Employee Spotlight
As changes are continuously made within the agency, Wyoming NRCS wants to ensure their employees know that their hard work and extra effort are recognized and appreciated. In order to acknowledge employee’s achievements without taking away from end of the year performance reviews, Wyoming NRCS, through the Civil Rights Advisory Committee, has decided to implement the “Employee Spotlight”. The objective of the Employees Spotlight is to encourage and recognize employees who go above and beyond in Wyoming NRCS by acknowledging exceptional acts of customer/employee service and surpassing expectations for NRCS mission activities, which promotes quality service to NRCS customers. In order to implement the spotlight Wyoming NRCS employees must be willing to nominate their employees, coworkers, supervisors, etc. that demonstrate the above qualities. Nominated employees will be spotlighted in the last NRCS Wyoming Update of each Quarter and will receive a certificate of appreciation.
