NRCS announces the West Virginia State Technical Committee Meeting

The next quarterly meeting scheduled for October 24.

MORGANTOWN, WV Oct 9, 2018– The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will host the West Virginia State Technical Committee meeting, October 24.

More than a dozen West Virginia federal, state, and local agencies and conservation organizations are represented on the committee.  Meetings are held quarterly to discuss the conservation of soil, water, air, plants, wetlands, wildlife and agriculture. Topics for this meeting include NRCS program priorities as well as subcommittee updates and partner projects.

The public is invited to attend the meeting which will be held Wednesday, October 24 at 11 a.m. at the USDA Professional Building located at 1550 Earl L. Core Road, Morgantown in conference room 200 (second floor).
