Connecticut River Watershed Landowners Can Apply for Conservation Assistance by April 23

Assistance Available through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)

March 9, 2021--The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Vermont announced that landowners in the Connecticut River Watershed are eligible for funding through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)-Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP). Applications are due by April 23, 2021. Made available through "Connect the Connecticut," the funding will improve habitat for fish and wildlife, water quality and climate resiliency in high priority aquatic and terrestrial sites. Special priority will be given to applicants who seek to restore or improve access to fish habitat based on state or federally mapped extents as  prioritized under one of several published models:
