Logan River Watershed (Sponsor = Cache Water District)

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), with the Cache Water District, Crockett Avenue Irrigation and the cities of Logan, North Logan and Hyde Park as the project sponsors, is proposing to partially fund through the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act [Public Law (PL) 83-566], the Logan River Watershed Plan in Cache County, Utah. The plan will address flood control and flood protection, evaluate measures to reduce water loss and increase efficiency in the current irrigation delivery system and consider additional recreational facilities.

NRCS will hold an online public scoping meeting as part of the Watershed Plan Environmental Assessment (Plan-EA) to provide information about the project and to collect public comments.* The public is invited to attend the scoping meeting to learn more, ask questions and submit written comments. A brief presentation will be provided prior to a question and answer session.
