Entities applying for financial assistance (awarded as a grant or cooperative agreement) need to submit application forms to NRCS. The Standard Form (SF) 424, Application for Federal Assistance, is required from every applicant. Two additional forms, determined on the basis of whether the project is for construction or non-construction, must also be submitted:
Financial Status Report (Short Form) -- this form is submitted to NRCS the project is completed. The form summarizes financial activity during performance of the project.
The following regulations and policies must be followed by recipients accepting financial assistance from NRCS. These regulations are published in Titles 2 and 7 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and in Office of Management and Budget Circulars.
