Earth Team Volunteer Spotlight - Justin Bartee, Area 1

Justin Bartee ET VolunteerJustin Bartee became an Earth Team Volunteer in 2013.

He couldn’t wait to be 14 so that he could “go play in the dirt” with the engineers. Between seasons of playing baseball and hunting, Justin has managed to volunteer over 200 hours with the Area 1 Engineers in TN.

He loves to survey and has enjoyed learning all about what engineers do. Now that he is 18, and has graduated high school, Justin is going out into the workforce and plans to use many of the tools he gained as an Earth Team Volunteer.

In the future, Justin plans to go to UT Martin to study Engineering and work for NRCS. No matter where he ends up in life, he will always remember his days as an Earth Team Volunteer, and he will carry with him the lessons he's learned and the friendships he's made.
